I have been a practicing counselor for the last 20 years and can honestly say I have enjoyed every single day. I am licensed in Alabama, Florida, and Utah. I have been certified as not only a Licensed Professional Counselor but also as a Certified Addictions Professional. I believe the challenges we face, although sometimes uncomfortable, teach us valuable lessons about who we are as people and allow us to tap into a strength we often do not realize we possess. Assisting my clients to help  recognize their strength is a privilege not taken lightly by me. I provide a safe, pleasant, and comfortable space for individuals and families to find their strengths and to celebrate their successes. I offer a discreet office location to assist with maintaining the most strict level of confidentiality, with extended weekday hours and some weekend appointments being available. I offer services for those experiencing change and loss, depression, mood regulation, anxiety and stress, vocational issues, marital concerns, parenting concerns, adjustment concerns, trauma (past or current), ADHD, childhood behavioral issues, and transitions in life. My approach is eclectic utilizing strategies from various schools of thought, which means I use whatever works for you.

Charles Todd Henderson, Ed.S., LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I began my career as a high school history teacher before returning to school to obtain both a Master’s and an Education Specialist’s degree in School Counseling. For 27 years, I worked in the public school system of Butler County,  AL. where I was invested with helping young people understand the value of counseling and the healing that can take place in the context of such healthy relationships. I find therapy is most beneficial when both the client and the therapist “show up” as their authentic selves. I am committed to tolerance and diversity with the goal of helping clients empower themselves and gain the courage to make room for growth, change and a better quality of life. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. I also value my relationships with family and friends and appreciate spending time with them.
